We are pleased to announce this year’s UN Global Compact European Business and Human Rights Peer Learning Meeting.
The meeting provides a platform for practitioners to learn more about challenges and practical approaches with regard to the effective implementation of human rights due diligence. Held under the Chatham House Rule, it enables discussion, networking and exchange with peers and experts.
It is centred around two full-day, interactive workshops.
|Day 1: September 11th||Day 2: September 12th|
Investor perspectives and the changing external landscape for human rights due diligence (organised by GCN Germany)
Effective approaches to ending the worst forms of child labour in fragile contexts (organised by GCN UK)
Joint dinner (organised by GCN Italy)
The meeting is open to representatives from companies from all sectors that have well-established human rights due diligence processes and are familiar with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. It will be most beneficial for advanced practitioners responsible for human rights and social sustainability issues within their businesses.
The meeting will take place at International Training Centre of the ILO at Viale Maestri del Lavoro, 10 in Turin. Detailed directions to the venue can be found here.
