The Business & Human Rights Accelerator helps companies strengthen their human rights due diligence and turn commitments into concrete action. The application deadline for the 2027 programme is 30 November.
The Business & Human Rights Accelerator (BHRA) is a practical programme for companies looking to strengthen their human rights due diligence (HRDD) and address their most salient human rights and labour rights risks. The next programme starts in February 2027.
“The programme's standout feature lies in its ability to facilitate valuable connections with peers, fostering a dynamic environment for learning and sharing insights regarding other companies' endeavors to uphold human rights,” says Uyen Phan, Human Rights and Social Sustainability Advisor at Grundfos and a former participant in the BHRA programme in Denmark.
The 2027 programme combines three global online workshops with local and regional peer learning.
The Danish track
In Denmark, participants will also attend two in-person sessions in Copenhagen, delivered in collaboration with the Danish Institute for Human Rights. These sessions will focus on applying what participants have learned to their own companies and exchanging experiences with peers.
“This interaction offers a wealth of knowledge and valuable lessons, empowering Grundfos to engage in ongoing dialogues and enhance our own practices to strengthen our commitment and actions to respect human rights,” says Uyen Phan.
Throughout the programme, participants will work towards developing a practical action plan to strengthen human rights due diligence within their companies.
The programme is relevant both for companies looking to build on existing HRDD efforts and for professionals taking on or expanding their responsibilities for human rights due diligence.
The next BHRA programme runs February-June 2027. The application deadline is 30 November 2026.
