The world needs new ideas and innovative solutions to reach the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs or Global Goals), and the young generation has the mindset to provide them.
During our half-day conference on February 1 in the UN City in Copenhagen, you will learn how to use the SDGs to create innovation and new business strategies. Moreover, you will become familiar with UN Global Compact’s new Young SDG Innovator program, which aims to turn young professionals into SDG intrapreneurs who can help the companies they represent create a profit while solving some of the world’s biggest challenges. The Young SDG Innovator program is supported by Tuborgfondet.
You will also get the chance to listen to inspirational talks from:
- John Elkington, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder at Volans Ventures and creator of the term “Triple Bottom Line”
- Lise Kingo, Executive Director of the UN Global Compact
- Mads Nipper, CEO of Grundfos and member of the UN’s Business and Sustainable Development Commission
The conference takes place from 12.30 to 16.15 followed by drinks and networking.
Everyone with an interest in businss and the SDGs are welcome – including Students.
